About Darwins Sandwich Evolution
Darwins Sandwich Evolution, named for the famous evolutionary biologist who once lived in Shrewsbury, offer Sandwiches, obviously, but also a range of wraps, soup, French recipe crepes with lemon & sugar, maple syrup, chocolate & banana, nutella, cheese & ham.
A full range of calorie counted sandwiches called 'u300' (under 300 calories).
99% fat free milkshakes with no artificial colours or flavours, homemade cakes, and coffee.
We also currently have a student sandwich of the day deal for £1.
Darwins Sandwich Evolution are trying to offer something a bit different from the plain, run of the mill sandwich shop. The crepes certainly seem to be attracting a following. Well worth a visit.

Darwin's is a place I visit fairly regularly.
Always served nice food and friendly service.
Situated just across the road from Shrewsbury's Indoor Market Hall.
Darwin's could be quite easily overlooked, which would be a real shame.
It's compact, with a small ground floor, with further seating upstairs.
It's quite ordinary in many respects, but always offers a refuge, especially if you prefer not to frequent some of the bigger noisier establishments.
A great place to enjoy the quality of life and watch the world go by.
Places like these add to the charm of this town and need to remembered, frequented and not lost to history.
