FrankwellWe are a Community Interest Company (not for profit) based in Shrewsbury. We are dedicated to supporting Shropshire people by providing safe, friendly and affordable counselling and wellbeing services. We are proud to be part of the Shropshire community. We genuinely care about the people we support and understand the need for people to be seen for counselling as quickly as possible.
We understand the pressures that people face in their lives are often compounded by financial difficulties and therefore we offer affordable counselling at a donation rate of £30 per session for individuals, £30 per session for children and young adults and £30 for couples. Concessionary rates may also be available.
We are supporting Shropshire families by working with children and young adults. We provide counselling support in Shrewsbury, Church Stretton, Pontesbury and Ludlow.

What to expect
In a relaxed, informal way the counselling process will be explained. Issues such as confidentiality will be discussed, together with the frequency of future sessions and what times will be most convenient.
The first session is an opportunity for the counsellor and client to begin the process of establishing trust and rapport so that emotions and thoughts can safely be expressed.
The counsellors at Green Oak fully understand that seeking help for often longstanding issues requires a lot of courage and that clients may feel very nervous/anxious during the first session. Our dedicated team are trained to put clients at their ease as quickly as possible providing a safe, non-judgmental and supportive therapeutic environment.
