GP Extended Opening Hours
We would like all patients in our community to be able to see a local GP or nurse when they need to. We have set up a network of GP Practices within your community offering extended opening hours for pre-bookable and same day routine extended access appointments. The GP extended opening hours service operates between 6.30pm-8.00pm on weekdays and 8.30-12.30pm on weekends and allows patients to be seen within a network of GP Practices at a convenient time and location, depending on availability. These appointments may not be at your own surgery or with a clinician that works at your registered practice. To book an appointment please call the appointments line for availability.
To help us deal with your enquiries efficiently, please use the correct option when you call. The telephones are at their busiest in the mornings, especially Mondays. There are several incoming telephone lines which cannot all be answered at once. You will be in a queue so please be patient if your call is not answered immediately.
Our appointment line (option 1) is closed every working day between 12:00-14:00 and on Thursdays they are also closed from 15:00 for the rest of the day.
General enquiries line (option 2) is available from 08:00-18:00 every working day.
Any person living within the practice area wishing to register with the Practice should contact Reception.
New patients will be asked to complete several forms, including one regarding their medical history. Proof of identity and address will also be requested.
All new patients will be invited for a New Patient Medical with a member of the Nursing Team.
Anyone who received medication on a repeat basis from their previous GP must make an appointment to see a GP here before this can be issued; please note that sufficient time to allow the transfer of medical records to the Practice will need to be given before the appointment can be offered.
