Our staff have worked in highly established Indian restaurants across the UK and have vast experience in the kitchen area as he has worked as main chef and kitchen manager he has also judged curry competitions at Radbrook college of food Shrewsbury.

The team play an active role in the kitchen area and also play a large role on the restaurant floor providing exceptional customer service.

In this time we have gained vast experience in the indian restaurants sector, and we have been invited to do indian cooking lessons at various colleges, We are especially interested in indian fusion cooking and creating unique indian dishes, As well offering outstanding customer service.  We both play an active role of keeping the kitchen clean, our new 64 point check system in process. The first round of the Shropshire council curry chef awards, were an environmental health inspection of the restaurant and kitchen which we passed and then went on to winnning the competition that was hosted at Radbrook catering college being watched by several environmental health officers, food critics and reporters.

Café saffron indian Restaurant Shrewsbury started in 2001 with a few young men who had a vision to create the best and only contemporary Indian restaurant in Shrewsbury. The team were well known in Shrewsbury as they had worked in various Indian restaurants in the town, word spread quickly and the restaurant were soon becoming full. Our master Award winning indian chef  Now Shropshire's curry chef of the year 2010, has trained alongside highly established chefs. When we started we only had 35 seats. Thanks to  your support we have extended to seat up 110 people.

Vegan - Vegetarian - wheat tollerant - low fat diets - healthy - authentic - all our meats are lean and we use olive oil on request, we don't use ghee in our curries. Eat healthy ask for olive oil in small amounts. We will work on any kind of special diet required.
