A family owned coaching inn on the banks of the River Severn in Shrewsbury This is a magnificent grade II listed building, standing on the banks of the River Severn, it has been tastefully decorated and captures the charms of its original coaching inn days, reflecting an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility.

Quality accommodation

Select from a quality range of doubles, twins and singles including 3 superior doubles in the main building.
 
Some bedrooms are located on ground floor level adjacent to the courtyard. Travel cots and foldaway beds are available for children.
 
All rooms include a complimentary breakfast. Some have views over the lawns to the river Severn and others look across the front lawn to the gates of Attingham Park.
 

 

The Mytton and Mermaid Restaurant and Bar

 

Seasonal menus served all day every day by our talented kitchen team.

At the Mytton and Mermaid coaching inn we pride ourselves on using Shropshire produce wherever possible and regularly update menus to reflect the changing seasons.
 
A selection of menus are served all day and evening, pick from brunch, lunch, afternoon and dinner with a fine choice for vegetarians and children too.
 
Daily specials compliment lunch and dinner. Sunday Lunch continues to be very popular featuring traditional dishes including All manner of Shropshire roasts including Roasts to share Afternoon Tea is served Monday to Saturday.
