A highly experienced private tutor with extensive knowledge of the National Curriculum at all stages.
I first began teaching in school over 40 years ago and for over 15 years I have been offering private tuition in Mathematics & English. My previous roles as head of Mathematics and IT co-ordinator have provided a well-developed skills base that allows me to conduct my academic tutoring with confidence and expert knowledge.
My one-to-one tuition sessions are designed around the needs of each individual, and I tailor my lessons accordingly. The aim of my lessons is to help my students to gain in confidence and reach their full potential.

Maths Tuition
John is a very experienced maths tutor who is fully conversant with the National Curriculum. He teaches all topics and ensures good understanding.
He uses well-established methods and techniques for solving maths, with clear explanations and analogies to support good comprehension.
He is very patient and encouraging with his pupils and brings out the very best in them.
In my experience of John tutoring two of my grandsons, he is an exceptional teacher of maths.
