Our practice is now fully open and growing every day. A BIG thank-you to all of you who have registered your pets and for your kind comments. For those of you who'd like to find out more, please call us. Better still, we love having people pop in for an informal chat and to look around.
We are an independent, family-run veterinary practice for pet animals, set up in 2010 by Rebecca and Hendrik. We advise on and treat all aspects of pet health issues - from vaccinations through to complex surgery and intensive hospital care.

During our regular opening hours, accidents and emergencies are seen at our Practice at 105 Longden Road. Out of hours emergency cases are seen by the Accidents and Emergencies Clinic"VETS NOW" in Wellington

Our Vets - Hendrik is a “GP” Vet with over 20 years experience. He is also an RCVS recognised Advanced Practitioner in Cardiology, seeing complex cases referred by other vets. Fiona has over 9 years experience as a GP and has a special interest in complex wound management and surgery. Alison has over 15 years experience and helps us regularly when Hendrik is attending professional meetings. Magda qualified in 2015 and enjoys the variety of her work as a "GP" Vet. Lorna is a highly experienced RCVS recognised Ophthalmology Vet and looks after our patients’ eyes as well as running our busy monthly BVA eye test clinic. Rory is our RCVS recognised Orthopaedic Vet and has over 15 years’ experience.
Our Veterinary Nurses - Alison and Bethan are highly experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses. Jules brings both a love of animals and her great experience of helping people to our Team; Anthony and Louise both have degrees in Animal Behaviour; Ant is also an experienced dog trainer.
Our practice Management Team - Rebecca is our Practice Manager and oversees all non-clinical matters. Fiona, who has a degree in Animal Welfare and a veterinary nursing background, manages our popular Animal Health Club.

I have nothing but praise for this practice. Their professionalism and the obvious love and care they have for animals is second to none. I’ve been to many vets over the last 30+ years and have to say that this has been the best by far. We’ve seen Erica on our visits and she’s absolutely lovely. I’ve had evening calls from Hendrick ( Hope that’s how you spell his name apologies if not) when he’s obviously just finished his shift with our dogs lab results and although he must just want to get home, he has never rushed the calls and has explained everything in great detail. The reception team are absolutely fantastic too. Also how they have managed the practice through Covid has been amazing too. Thank you for your outstanding work and for making the visits to the vets a pleasant experience for Fudge.
