Childcare at the Hollies is a family-owned nursery which was opened a year ago as part of the first phase of redevelopment of The Hollies, a magnificent building which dates from the 1860’s, set in almost an acre of walled garden within walking distance of Shrewsbury town centre. Purchased two years ago the million pound main redevelopment will start in 2020 and include much more nursery space, holiday and after school clubs as well as a private healthcare offering specifically for children and families.
Children enjoy learning through play; they learn to develop good, kind social skills by being well cared for; with our interesting child-centred nursery environment and extensive natural outdoor play areas they have the best opportunity to play, explore, discover and learn.
