At Greenfields, we aim to understand precisely our children’s individual needs and work together to ensure they are met with a range of holistic opportunities that develop the child through every aspect of their learning.
We are very proud of our dynamic school and our achievements. We have high expectations of our children and are totally committed to them reaching these in a happy, safe environment. The school is situated in the medieval town of Shrewsbury and caters for children from Nursery to year six.

We are part of the Severn Bridges Multi Academy Trust and our collective aim is to help our children to be ‘Prepared for Life’. We work hard to ensure that the curriculum is exciting and engaging where the children can utilise all their strengths to inquire about the world. Excellent school. Caring, committed, approachable teachers. As a parent I feel listened to and the schools communication with parents is excellent. My son loves school and has huge respect for his year 6 teacher.

Well what can I say other than what a fantastic school that I chose to send my children to......all 5 of them over a period of almost 20 years!
During the whole time that my children have been at Greenfields they have had amazing support and all had a wonderful time and made lots of friends including teachers who have gone above and beyond to ensure all of my children have been happy. Two of my children are profoundly deaf with bilateral CI’s with my youngest also having additional learning and speech delays but rather than make it harder being a mainstream school they have embraced everything we’ve had to deal with and I have the best support that I could ever have hoped for. Although my son has a few years left at Greenfields I do worry about the day he has to leave as I can’t imagine he will get as much support and care as he does here. Thank you so much for everything and keep going during these difficult times as you are all doing a fantastic job.
Special thanks to Sharon who has been our 1-1 TA for my Deaf children since my daughter was at Greenfields and she now continues to support my son. Honestly you are a godsend and we couldn’t manage without you, we appreciate everything you do for us xxx

A great school.
My two girls both enjoyed their time at Greenfields.
Friendly approachable teachers.
They loved the sporting side of the school, many outside tournaments we took part in, football, rugby, athletics, swimming etc.
We had no issues going through school, but I know if there was, it would be sorted and dealt with that day.
Good communication from the school, through emails, texts and phone calls home.
Would recommend Greenfield Primary School.
